Well , where shall I begin ,Hmmmmmmm ?

After writing my Book in 2002, I went straight to a local music shop and bought an Arbiter one key maple Drum Kit. Beautiful Loud kit.(over a grand) and Re-invented my career as a drummer ! had not played a kit for approx 18 years. Before I left the shop, I had been heard trying the Kit out, and was asked to do an audition for a local Band. Passed the Audition and got the job !!!

MID LIFE CRISIS , no not me , thats the name of the Band. Back on the Road...Played for a couple of years, Until our singer left.  Continued with Cliff (bass player) taking over lead vocals. but could not think of a new name! Until one day at rehersals, a prospective booker, asked us how we were getting on without our singer ? Cliff answered, we are ok for bookings, its Business as usual. WOW !!! what a great name for the Band. So the name stayed. We appeared in local pubs and clubs, and got quite good results. I applied to go into Rock Talent show at Chicago's night club in Sutton. And we won the heat.then the local final,again at Chicago's. And won the Area final. We were now into the regional final in Chichester against some very fierce competition. Thinking, some of the Bands were really good and we had as much chance of winning as anybody else, We were very disappointed to lose to a crap band. sorry ( rap band). They were very good,but what where they doing in a Rock talent competetion,and winning it ? and a solo singer we beat twice in Sutton,came second.?

One day looking in the musicians wanted adds, I saw an advert for a drummer needed for a gigging Glam rock band. Interesting I thought, so got an audition with them, and got the Job. What was I letting myself in for ??  After two successful years with them I decided it was not for me, not enough comradship and arguements over trivial things. I reformed an old band, just in the studio, which did not work out. Rejoined the look for a few months, giving it another try, but sadly nothing changed, so parted with  them mid November 2007..

I have decided to have a rest from drumming and spend more time on my business'es. So Bye to the drums for now...
